DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds gusting to 15 to 30 mph are expected this
afternoon across northeast Oklahoma. These winds combined with
developing drought conditions will increase grassland fire weather
concerns this afternoon. Areas of greatest concern will be along
and west of U.S. 75 and south of highway 412 where afternoon
humidity values will fall into the 25 to 30 percent range.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...No Hazards.
FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A low chance of showers will occur late tonight into Monday
afternoon as a frontal boundary approaches the region and a
disturbance moves around the periphery of a strong ridge of high
pressure centered just to our east. The greatest chance of
measurable rainfall will remain north of Interstate 44 in
northeast Oklahoma.

Dry and warm conditions will prevail through Thursday before
shower and storm chances return late in the week into next
weekend as another storm system moves into the Plains states.
