.DISCUSSION...
Cooler air filters into the area as northeast winds
increase around 10 mph in the afternoon. Stratus
clouds increase after sunrise, gradually becoming
mostly sunny as mixing heights improve to around 4kft.
Skies are partly cloudy this evening, followed by a
cooler and calmer Friday afternoon as high pressure
settles overhead. Mixing heights improve to near 5 kft
as low level winds shift to the east southeast at 10
to 15 mph.
Storm chances return to the area Saturday night into
Sunday. Highest chances are centered over north central
Kansas.
