Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
106 PM MDT Thu Jul 31 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Unsettled conditions will persist across the Northern Rockies
through the weekend, with daily chances for showers and
thunderstorms. Thunderstorms throughout this timeframe will be
capable of producing heavy rainfall, which would lead to debris
flows on recent large, burn scars. Temperatures through this
active and unsettled pattern will remain below normal, with
generally light winds outside of any shower or thunderstorm
activity. Moisture recovery will be good to excellent across all
elevations and slopes. - Moldan
