Gentle to moderate southwest breezes across the northern Gulf will bring surf heights of 1 to 2 feet to Emerald and Forgotten Coast beaches today and Friday. A Moderate risk for rip currents will prevail, though brief times with high risk conditions will exist along southwest- facing beaches as the afternoon seabreeze peaks today and Saturday. Dangerous heat continues with heat indices ranging from 105-112 degrees.
