...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring and
  expected to continue.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Alabama, including the following
  counties, Henry and Houston.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
  areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 658 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain fell across the warned area overnight.
    Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 5
    and 9 inches of rain is estimated to have fallen.
    Additionally, local law enforcement has continued to report
    areas of flooding ongoing in the warned area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected for the next few hours. Some additional rainfall is
    possible this afternoon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Headland, Kinsey, Webb, Newville and Headland Municipal A/P.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
