...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Georgia...

  Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd) affecting
  Brooks and Lowndes Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 115 AM EST.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd).

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 135.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Langdale Park
  floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM EST Saturday the stage was 135.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 12:30 PM EST Saturday was 135.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 127.6 feet
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 135.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    135.0 feet on 03/21/1995.
