STANISLAUS...SOUTHEASTERN SOLANO...CALAVERAS AND SOUTHWESTERN AMADOR
COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM PDT...

At 1225 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Stockton to Angels Camp.
Movement was northwest at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stockton, Modesto, Galt, Oakdale, Jackson, San Andreas, Paloma, Lodi,
Riverbank, Waterford, Ione, Escalon, Valley Springs, Rancho
Calaveras, Waterloo, Glencoe, Clinton, Copper Cove Village, August,
and Wallace.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
