...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Emery County
through 1100 AM MDT
...

At 1021 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles south of Clawson, or 39 miles southeast of Manti, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Emery
County.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 105 and 152.
 Utah Route 24 between mile markers 159 and 160.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
