.DISCUSSION...
Mostly cloudy early today, but partly cloudy and warm to hot this
afternoon. We will continue with light and variable winds
overnights with generally prevailing SE - NE winds 5 to 10 mph
each day. Min RH may drop off a bit this weekend especially north
of I-20. We have just enough muggy tropical air remaining for
heating to pop up some diurnal showers or an isolated thunderstorm
through the weekend. Isolated coverage today will become
scattered Saturday and then fall off again to just isolated
coverage again by Sunday. Little change in the offing as the
doldrums of summer continue to reside along with upper level high
pressure next week with hot and dry conditions and more upper 90s
again by Labor Day.
