...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
  counties, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 455 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Wolf Creek at Highway AB, Dove Creek at Dove Creek Road,
    Woods Fork Gasconade River at Rippee Ford Road, Baker Creek
    at Baker Creek Road and Whetstone Creek at Owens Road.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mountain Grove, Seymour, Mansfield, Norwood, Hartville,
    Dawson and Odin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
