National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
313 PM EST Thu Mar 5 2026

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure, 30.00 inches, lifts across the Ohio
Valley and tracks along the southern shore of Lake Erie today.
This brings showers and areas of fog to the southern waterways,
with light ENE flow. A stronger low, 29.40 inches, will move into
the northern Great Lakes by Saturday providing an uptick in winds
and showers out ahead of it. Potential exists for some
thunderstorms. The system`s cold front should pass through the
central Great Lakes Saturday afternoon/evening leading to drier
conditions for the rest of the weekend.
