.DISCUSSION...
Another stretch of dry weather is underway, courtesy of high
pressure. Today will be cool despite abundant sunshine, with highs
only in the mid to upper 60s across the lowland, and mid 50s to mid
60s in the mountains. Tonight will be chilly again, with frost
possible in the deeper mountain valleys. After that, temperatures
will moderate to seasonable levels, ending the frost potential.
A coastal storm forming this weekend is not likely to impact our
weather directly, but its upper level counterpart may provide
showers across northern and eastern portions of the area. As long as
that low moves offshore next week, high pressure will become
reestablished over our area, and dry, seasonable weather will prevail.
