A cold front moving across the area today will bring isolated to
scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. A few storms may
produce localized strong wind gusts. Drier weather returns on Friday
outside of isolated showers and storms in the mountains. An extended
period of dry weather is then expected through Tuesday amid a steady
warming trend as high pressure builds over the region. Lowland high
temperatures will reach the upper 80s to low 90s Sunday onward.
