.DISCUSSION...
...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds...
A much colder day then yesterday with temperatures largely holding
steady around zero degrees today. Wind should remain light through
around 1000, the becoming north in the afternoon with gusts to
around 15 mph. Snow showers will be around the area from time to
time but any accumulation should be less then an inch. With shallow
Arctic air over the burn site, mixing heights will remain very low
and with light wind smoke dispersal will remain rather poor. Winds
will become largely light and terrain driven tonight. Saturday looks
like a dry day before another front brings the next chance of snow
showers for Sunday.
