.DISCUSSION...
Elevated to locally critical conditions are expected in far NE CA and
NW NV this afternoon and Monday due to gusty winds up to 30-35 mph and
low humidities. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will pose a risk of
new lightning starts and strong outflow winds south of US-50 today.
Deep mixing heights and sufficient instability will allow for more active
plume behavior today. Cooler, more humid conditions move in by Tuesday,
with widespread chances for showers and thunderstorms by Wednesday.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
