At 544 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Angier to near Godwin to near Fayetteville to Rex. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Smithfield, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Dunn, Angier, Benson, and Godwin.
