.DISCUSSION...Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms Saturday
afternoon with brief heavy downpours, gusty outflow winds up to
30-35 mph, small hail up to the size of peas, and infrequent
lightning. Drier on Sunday before another series of systems
arrive on Monday through Wednesday, bringing chances for widespread
wetting rains. Increasing confidence in a significant warming
and drying trend Friday through the upcoming weekend.
