...TROPICAL STORM BUALOI (26W) HAS EXITED THE REGION...
...ELEVATED SWELL AND SURF DIMINISHING OVERNIGHT...

Tropical Storm Bauloi (26W), now located near 11.4N 128.6E, has
exited the region and and continues to move west-northwest across the
Philippine Sea. A wet monsoon-like pattern continues for Yap and
Palau in its wake, but seas and surf are diminishing. Altimetry data
indicates that seas have diminished to 6 to 8 feet near Palau, and
the Small Craft Advisory was allowed to expire for Palau waters late
this morning. West to northwest swell is diminishing as well, and
surf is expected to fall below hazardous levels along north and west
facing reefs of Palau, and west facing reefs of Yap late overnight.

This will be the last Special Weather Statement issued for Tropical
Storm Bualoi. Residents and mariners should continue to monitor local
sea and surf conditions and forecasts, and to practice caution when
near or on the water. Stay up to date with the latest forecasts for
the region at weather.gov/gum/PublicForecasts and any information
shared by WSO Palau and WSO Yap for their local regions, as well as
JTWC bulletins under WTPN31 PGTW.
