.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions are expected at the fire site today, with
triple-digit ambient temperatures and minimum afternoon relative
humidity in the 20-25% range. While remaining generally light in
magnitude (~5-7 mph), wind direction will be rather variable
today, ranging from westerly (~270-degrees) to southerly
(~180-degrees).
A surface front will pass the site tomorrow morning, offering a
more sustained northerly wind shift. There is also increasing
potential (20-30%) for scattered rain and thunderstorms by
Thursday afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds will be possible near
thunderstorms.
