Central WA:
- West to northwest winds will be breezy Monday and Tuesday
  afternoon and evening with a 30-60% chance of wind gusts over 30
  mph along the Cascade gaps, Waterville Plateau, and western
  Columbia Basin.
- Low relative humidity values and fair to poor recoveries
  overnight.

Eastern WA:
- Warm and dry conditions continue through Monday with smoke and
  haze.
- Low relative humidity values and fair to poor recoveries
  overnight.
- Slight chance of thunderstorms near the Canadian border
  Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

North ID:
- Warm and dry conditions continue through Monday with smoke and
  haze.
- Low relative humidity values and fair to poor recoveries.
- Slight chance of thunderstorms near the Canadian border
  Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

A return to near-normal temperatures and improving overnight
recoveries is expected the first half of the week, however
elevated fire weather conditions will linger along the Cascades
through Tuesday with breezy afternoon and evening winds. A chance
for showers and thunderstorms arrives toward the northern mountain
districts mid-week.
