...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SMITH...
SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND WEST CENTRAL PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM
CDT...

At 207 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Carthage, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carthage, Gordonsville, South Carthage, Pleasant Shade, and
Granville.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 255 and 260.
