.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure builds over the Brooks Range and North
Slope through this weekend. A warming and drying trend will develop
under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will rise into the 60s with
a few 70s in the warmer spots. Relative humidities will drop into
the 40s in some locations. Winds will be light. Sunday afternoon
there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms to the east of the
Dalton Highway over the Romanzof Mountains. Monday an Arctic ocean
storm system will bring the next good chance for rain to the North
Slope.
