Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak stationary front over the northern Gulf of Maine will lift N as a warm front by later today. Otherwise, strong high pressure will persist just to the S of the waters today into Mon before shifting off to the E and SE of the area Mon night into Tue. A strong cold front will approach the area from the W and NW Tue night, then move quickly SE across the area on Wed. The front will clear S and E of the waters Wed night into early Thu as strong high pressure builds E and SE toward the area from the Great Lakes.
