...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ AND WEST
CENTRAL SANTA CLARA COUNTIES UNTIL 2 AM PDT...

At 138 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Uvas Canyon Park, or 8 miles west of Morgan Hill, moving northwest
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  San Jose, Los Gatos, Uvas Canyon Park, Eureka Canyon Road, Seven
  Trees, Cambrian Park, Lexington Hills and Day Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
