FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Mon Oct 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Cold front moving through the region this morning will support
periods of light rain across central and eastern Upper Michigan this
morning. Light rain may continue across southern and eastern Upper
Michigan into this evening and far east after midnight. Temperatures
today peak near 60F for most of the region under northwest to
northerly flow. Minimum RH values in the 50s are expected across the
interior west half.

Dry air increases tonight, potentially resulting in frost across the
interior west half; otherwise good RH recoveries are expected. Dry
conditions persist Tuesday and RH may dip into the low to mid 30s
for many interior locations.
