.DISCUSSION...Mainly dry conditions are expected across the area
today, although a few isolated showers and storms are possible
during the afternoon hours. Scattered showers and storms return
to the forecast for Saturday afternoon, especially over interior
portions of southern Alabama and northwest Florida. Afternoon
relative humidity values remain above critical levels today and
Saturday. Transport winds will be mostly westerly to
southwesterly both days. Dispersion index values will be fair to
good today and fair to generally good on Saturday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Patchy fog development is
possible tonight, mainly north of I-10. Fog development is not
expected Friday night.
