.DISCUSSION...
Flow will remain onshore with above normal moisture keeping shower
and storm coverage above normal through late week (rain chances 50-
70% Thursday and around 70% on Friday). Winds will be out of the
east-southeast on Thursday and generally out of the south-southeast
on Friday, with wind speeds 5-10 mph, increasing up to 10-15 mph
behind a diffuse east coast sea breeze each afternoon. Lower chances
(20-40%) will linger into the overnight and early mornings as bands
of onshore-moving showers remain possible. No Min RH concerns
through the week, with min RHs forecast to be 60% or higher.
Afternoon dispersion values will be Poor to Fair both Thursday and
Friday. Seasonable temperatures with highs in the U80s-L90s, with
M90s possible over the interior late in the week. Peak afternoon
heat indices 100-107F.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
