...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 7 PM EDT FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

Hazardous heat will continue through tomorrow. Hot and humid
conditions will produce heat indices of 108-110 degrees today and
Friday. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for all of east central
Florida through 7 PM this evening. An additional Heat Advisory has
been issued for Friday for Osceola to Brevard counties northward
from noon until 7 PM. Ridge axis south of the area will produce
relatively light southwest winds around 5-8 mph during the day
through early weekend, becoming east-southeast around 10-15 mph each
afternoon along the coast behind the inland moving east coast sea
breeze. Shower and storm chances will be near to below normal
through late week, around 30-50% today and Friday, with greatest
coverage expected west of I-95 during the afternoon and evening
hours. Coverage of showers and storms increases into the weekend,
becoming 50-60 percent. No minimum RH concerns forecast. Smoke
dispersion values will overall range poor to fair across Okeechobee
County and the Treasure Coast, and good to very good farther north,
today through Saturday.

Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
