...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL JONES AND CENTRAL
CRAVEN COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 735 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Trent Woods, or near New Bern, moving west at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Bern, James City, Trent Woods, River Bend, Tuscarora, Rhems,
Coastal Carolina Regional Airport, and Pollocksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
