This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible today,
some of which may become strong to severe and may produce damaging
wind gusts. Regardless of severe potential, torrential downpours may
lead to localized flooding concerns.

Hot and humid conditions continue with heat indices peaking around
100 to 104 degrees this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hot and humid conditions will lead to afternoon heat indices up to
105 degrees for parts of Eastern North Carolina ahead of the front
Friday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms may bring periods of
heavy rain Friday and Friday night, which could lead to localized
minor flooding.
