.DISCUSSION...High pressure will dominate the weather Monday and
Tuesday, bringing summer-like weather with the warmest
temperatures of the year so far. Winds should predominantly be
from the southwest on Monday, but the burn site looks to be right
along a boundary with stronger southwest winds to the south and
northwest winds to the north. This could result in a brief period
of west to northwest winds around 6-10 mph early Monday evening.
Southerly flow develops over the region on Tuesday as low pressure
offshore approaches the West Coast. Daytime humidities will trend
lower, strong gusty southwest winds will develop by late Tuesday
morning and there will be the potential for some cumulus buildups
in the afternoon. Low pressure moves through the region Wednesday
into Thursday, bringing much cooler temperatures, showers and the
chance (10-15%) for afternoon thunderstorms.
