...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM THIS EVENING
FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue into early this
evening. Mostly dry weather is expected tonight into Friday
morning, then another round of isolated to scattered
thunderstorms are expected mid to late Friday afternoon into
Friday evening. The best chance for scattered storms will be in
portions of Fire zone 280. Thunderstorms will be isolated Saturday
with less lightning activity. A stronger system will bring
showers and thunderstorms. Gusty winds are also expected Sunday
afternoon in the Shasta Valley.
