...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HENDERSON...
SOUTHERN BENTON AND DECATUR COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Parsons, or 9 miles east of Natchez Trace State Forest, moving south
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Natchez Trace State Park, Natchez Trace State Forest, Parsons,
Decaturville, Darden, Scotts Hill, Perryville, Busseltown, Jeannette,
Wilkinstown, I-40 Near The Tennessee River, Mount Tabor, Garrett,
Sugar Tree, Beacon, Hickory Forks, Largo, Taylors Crossing, Cozette,
and Bible Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
