Survey Summary: A swath of straight line winds reaching speeds of
up to 105 mph impacted northern portions of Cole and Osage counties
from approximately 2-3 pm on July 4th. The worst damage occurred
east of Jefferson City near Osage City. Hundreds of trees were blown
down, several power poles were snapped, and numerous structures were
damaged.
