497 FZUS61 KBUF 141502 GLFLO Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario National Weather Service Buffalo NY 1002 AM EST Fri Nov 14 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low will move north across the Canadian Maritimes this morning. A 30.1 inch high will then briefly ridge south across the Lake this afternoon and tonight as it slides east across southern Quebec. A 29.2 inch low will track just north of the Lake Saturday afternoon while pushing an attendant warm front across the Lake, with its cold front crossing the Lake Saturday night, before moving east into New England through the day on Sunday. A trough averaging 29.6 inches then lingers over Lake Erie through Monday. A 30.3 inch high will move into the upper Great Lakes Tuesday.
