Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... High pressure around 30.3 inches over the northern Plains will gradually shift southeastward into the western Great Lakes by the end of the week. As a backdoor cold front continues to progress southward, expect winds to continue to turn to northeasterly, persisting into the morning before diminishing this afternoon. Winds will then remain light through the remainder of the week. An isolated storm is possible this afternoon and Thursday afternoon near the Wisconsin shore. High pressure will slide southward into the Lower Mississippi Valley Sunday, shifting winds to westerly and increasing.
