000 FZUS54 KLCH 311818 CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 117 PM CDT Thu Jul 31 2025 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-010700- 117 PM CDT Thu Jul 31 2025 .Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays... Weak pressure pattern at the surface will keep mainly light and variable winds and low seas through Saturday. However, widespread shower and thunderstorm activity is expected with winds and seas higher near that activity. A surface frontal boundary will approach the coast on Sunday. This will bring a mainly light westerly wind with low seas into early next week.
