Through 9 am, widely scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms
will move primarily northwest through the nearshore waters of the
Lower Keys, Straits of Florida, and the deep Gulf waters. The
stronger of the activity is capable of blinding downpours, wind gusts
of near 25 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island
communities may see an addtional few tenths of an inch in rainfall.
