...FAST MOVING SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WESTERN
FLORIDA STRAITS...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to 20 nm west
of Dry Tortugas out 60 nm...

At 1139 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected
large cluster of fast moving showers, with a few embedded
thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
The strongest activity will located from 24 nm southwest of Twenty-
Eight Foot Shoal Light to 45 to 60 nm south through southwest of
Wood`s Wall West Crack, moving northwest at 20 knots.

These showers and thunderstorms will remain over open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
