.DISCUSSION...

Breezy southwest winds persist today and Tuesday, along with well
above normal to near record warm temperatures. Highs will be in
the 70s today, then near 80 on Tuesday. Wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph
will be common each afternoon, resulting in good ventilation today
and fair ventilation Tuesday. These winds will result in
increasing moisture each day, keeping minimum RH values in the
40-50% range this afternoon, then above 50% on Tuesday. The next
chance of precipitation is Tuesday PM, when strong to severe
storms are possible. A front moves across the area Tuesday night
into Wednesday, resulting in a wind shift from southwest to
northwest. The northwest winds behind the front could gust as high
as 30-35 mph.
