...REMAIN ALERT FOR PATCHY ICE SPOTS ALONG ROADS AND OTHER PAVED
SURFACES THIS MORNING...

Although dry Arctic air worked its way across the area overnight,
there still remained residual water and puddles along area
roadways, bridges, overpasses, parking lots and sidewalks and
driveways that became ice covered.

These patchy slick spots experienced while you are driving or
walking, could cause you to lose control of your motor vehicle or
to even slip and fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you plan to drive or walk, remain alert for patchy ice. Slow
your driving speed and use care when walking on sidewalks,
driveways or parking lots. Slips and falls constitute a leading
cause of injuries during winter weather.
