  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 1100 AM EDT.

* At 958 AM EDT, cluster of strong thunderstorms was located 11 nm
  east of Wr4, moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and the potential for
           frequent cloud to sea lightning strikes.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wr4, School House Reef, and Wr2.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
