Seasonably mild temperatures were observed today in the Sunflower
State with highs in the low to mid 80s. Mostly sunny skies
prevailed with light southerly winds. As we move towards this
evening, isolated to scattered storms are likely in central
Kansas. The main impacts of these storms would be golf ball size
hail, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and locally heavy rainfall.

Tonight, storms will expand in coverage affecting central, south-
central and eastern Kansas. A few severe storms are possible with
this activity. The main impacts would be quarter size hail, wind
gusts up to 60 mph, and locally heavy rainfall. Low temperatures
will drop into low to mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday will be slightly cooler than today in Kansas with high
temperatures ranging from the upper 70s in northern Kansas to the
lower 80s in southern Kansas. Scattered storms are possible in the
afternoon and evening in southern to southeast Kansas. Severe
weather is not anticipated.
