Light snow and flurries tracked across western Kansas overnight and were moving into
Oklahoma a couple hours prior to sunrise.  Very cold temperatures remained in place with
early morning readings ranging from around 10 below over north central Kansas to the
single digits across southern Kansas.

Frigid temperatures are expected this morning across the Plains, with readings ranging
from around -20 over western Nebraska to the single digits across southern Oklahoma.
Light snow and flurries will slide across Oklahoma this morning, with accumulation not
expected.  Under sunny skies, high temperatures today will range from the low 40s over
western Nebraska to the teens across most of Missouri. For tonight, mostly clear skies
are expected across the region, with lows generally around 10
degrees area wide.
