.DISCUSSION...

A modest increase in southerly low-level flow is expected shortly
after sunrise this morning, ahead of a slow-moving cold front
that will drift southeastward into the region later today and
tonight. Clouds will steadily increase in coverage and lower this
morning as the front approaches, with probabilities for light but
wetting rainfall increasing in the vicinity of the prescribed burn
site around or shortly after Noon CST. MinRH values will be in
the 40-45% range prior to the onset of more persistent rainfall
later this afternoon, with mixing heights around 2000-2500 ft and
transport winds of 15-25 MPH resulting in generally good smoke
dispersion during the morning hours. Rain will continue across the
region for much of the night before gradually diminishing around
sunrise on Thursday. Although some mist will be possible with the
rainfall, probabilities for fog development appear rather low at
this time.
