.DISCUSSION...

Southerly 20 foot winds around 10 mph with gusts to between 15
and 20 mph are expected on Monday. Transport winds will be
southerly as well between 15 and 20 mph. Mixing heights will climb
to over 5800 feet in the afternoon. Afternoon relative humidity
values are expected to drop to between 40 and 50 percent. A low
chance (20-30%) of showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday
afternoon in NE Alabama.

Southerly 20 foot winds are expected on Tuesday with
southwesterly transport winds around 15 mph. Mixing heights will
climb to between 7000 and 8000 feet in the afternoon. Afternoon
relative humidity values will only drop to between 45 and 50
percent. A very low chance (20%) of showers and thunderstorms
exists in NW Alabama late in the afternoon.


Fog potential over the next few days: Some patchy fog is possible
in sheltered valley locations of northeastern Alabama and
southwest towards Lewis Smith Lake.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None is expected with high
afternoon relative humidity values.
