...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL FRESNO COUNTY
THROUGH 1230 AM PDT...

At 1200 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 28
miles southwest of North Lake Campground, or 29 miles west of South
Lake, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Wishon, Wishon Dam, West Woodchuck Meadow, and Dinkey Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
