.DISCUSSION...
A trough will increase fire weather concerns as it sweeps through
over the weekend. Wind gusts will increase across the San Joaquin
Valley, Sierra Nevada, and Mojave Desert. Multiple wind products
have been issued including a Wind Advisory for the Valley.
Combined with low minimum relative humidity (below 10% in the
Mojave Desert and between 15-30% elsewhere), moderate fire weather
risk is expected in the mentioned areas until gusts decrease and
minimum relative humidity increases 5-10 percent later on Sunday
and into Monday. Temperatures also will decrease over the weekend
into the 80s before climbing back into the lower 90s by the middle
of the next week.
