nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
High pressure to the far northeast will slowly drift into
position north of the Hawaiian Islands into the weekend,
producing  moderate to locally strong trade winds across the
region. A tropical cyclone is likely to develop SE of the area
over the next couple of days and advance toward the Hawaii Region
on Thursday, possibly entering the offshore waters by Friday.
