...PATCHY DENSE FOG CONTINUES ACROSS THE PIEDMONT...

Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of the Piedmont of
the Carolinas and Northeast Georgia, mainly along and south of
I-85. Fog should begin to improve after sunrise.

Visibility may decrease suddenly and over short distances due to
the patchy nature of the fog. Motorists traveling on area
roadways should use extra caution. If you encounter fog, slow
down, increase following distance, and turn on your low-beam
headlights.
