...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN PICKENS COUNTY THROUGH
800 PM EDT...

At 720 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Pickens, or 4 miles southwest of Table Rock State
Park, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pickens, Six Mile, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Table Rock State Park,
Jocassee Gorges, Lake Keowee, Sunset, Pumpkintown, Nine Times, and
Rocky Bottom.
