This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, Piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms expected again this
afternoon through this evening. An isolated severe storm or two
cannot be ruled out, with the main threat being damaging wind gusts.
There will also be a threat of locally heavy rainfall and isolated
flooding, where storms are slow-moving or redevelop over the same
area.

Heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees are possible this
afternoon across the Piedmont and foothills of the western Carolinas
and northeast Georgia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees are possible again
Friday afternoon across the Piedmont of South Carolina and northeast
Georgia, and the southern foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina.

Torrential rainfall from multiple rounds of showers and
thunderstorms may produce isolated flash flooding, especially in
urban areas Friday afternoon and evening.
