.DISCUSSION...
The tri-state region is forecast to stay roughly within northwest
flow aloft through this weekend before high pressure aloft builds
into the region early next week. A system is forecast to pass through
the region this afternoon into Saturday with a chance for light
snow. Measurable snow chances will remain low for most area, with
accumulations generally less than an inch where snow does fall.
Temperatures rise through next week with above average temperature
and a few afternoons with breezy to windy conditions. RH values may
fall to around 18% Monday in eastern Colorado, and there may be
infrequent gusts to 25 mph creating the potential for localized/brief
critical fire weather conditions. There is a Senegal for wind gusts
of 30-45 mph Tuesday, however relative humidity is currently forecast
to be a bit higher in the mid 20s during the afternoon period.
