.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

- Occasional light snow is expected Wednesday night through
Saturday for all but the SW zones.

- A gradual recovery in temperatures is expected to continue
  through Saturday.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
Arctic or modified Arctic air will hang on over the northeast
zones for much of the week as a stationary front remains northwest
to southeast near Fort Peck Lake.

An upper ridge over the Pacific Northwest and an upper low north
of the Great Lakes will remain nearly stationary this week, making
for a NW upper flow over the area. Disturbances coupled with the
stationary front will allow for occasional light snow Wednesday
night through early Saturday.

Friday night and Saturday, the upper ridge pushes east, pushing
warmer air into the area. A disturbance in combination may bring
light precipitation mainly to the northern then eastern zones.
Above normal temperatures are expected starting Saturday.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

Raised pops above NBM for Wednesday night and Thursday, otherwise
generally went with the NBM through the period. TFJ
